Crested Caracara

The best bet for finding these birds is to travel south of St Cloud on Canoe Creek Road. Caracara are often seen all the way to Yeehaw Junction sitting on fence posts and soaring in this area. Also you can head west out of Yeehaw on US 60 or closer in town head to Cherokee Road. They can be approached and photographed easily if they are feeding on carrion.
